The unlimited plans seems to be attractive but they are available only in kolkata. Alliance doesnot have a wide spread reach all over India. So I think people will stick to BSNL until some ISP comes up providing 2 Mbps speeds unlimited and has a wide reach all over the country.

i have always said broadband is not a cheap commodity, and it will not beeven after many years, even the prices come down and many players enterinto the market there will be problem of reliability, but bsnl and mtnl will rulefor much long time if they provide reliability and proper speed upgrades innear future.

This is just another passing phase, I'll just ignore it like I do most of the updates. The 2 Mbps craze, the unlimited prices going down, all of it is fake. There is no real change. The govt. won't let Alliance survive till much long (if it comes to Delhi)
