So looks like WB is going through a PR problem. The guy who was responsible for Superman's first teaser got fired probably and since then Superman's promotions went dead. I guess this is Gunn threatening Zslav that my movie is coming out in less than 2 months. Let me put up a proper trailer.
 
would have loved to have this handled like andor where we got 4 movies across four weeks. movie just does not have enough time for things to progress at reasonable pace.

gunn is the head of the studio iirc and not just the director. hopefully he has more control over his movies than he had at marvel lol.
 
Side question, has Nathan Fillion signed an agreement that he will be in trailers for 1 second only?
 
i doubt he is going to have a bigger role in this movie as well. he was also in suicide squad and well they killed him in that one within the first few minutes. i think he just does these smaller roles for lulz and probably going to stick to them. iirc he also did a smallish role in one of the marvel movies. probably gunn's so that would be guardians of the Galaxy movies.

gunn's little brother does get a slightly beefier role though.

In the DCU, he's portrayed Guy Gardner/Green Lantern in Superman and is also set to appear as Guy Gardner in the HBO series "Lanterns".

so he might have a bigger role in the tv show as that show is well focused on lanterns.
