Syrotech bridge mode

I brought a tp-link Archer c6 router and I have a Syrotech router connected to it in bridge mode
where Syrotech is only being used as a modem

the question is now how do I access the Syrotech's web UI?

@tobiaskuran working by setting static IP in secondary connection with 192.168.1.2 IP , and I am able to access my ont. Though can it cause any network configuration problems?

I hope it doesn't cause issues. Not well versed with networking

You need to assign an IP address in the same subnet as that of the ONTs management interface, to the secondary interface of the C6. There is an option for it in the UI.

Thanks @varkey i didn't know it. Everytime to troubleshoot or check rx power of onu i have to use laptop but now i can access it from phone.

@dkdhanda8 It shouldn’t give you any problem. C6 Archer handles it well.

My current setup is same and it works just flawless. All setup done after going through post in this forum.

I can open TP-Link, Syrotech ONU and also Tenda which I am using as range extender.

Anyone got any idea how to achieve the same in openWRT. I tried creating a new WAN interface with that IP, the ONU is accessible but PPPoE connection is still active but internet stops working.

@achaudhary997 You can create another interface with a static IP address and then select the ethernet adapter which is connected to the ONT. There is also an alias interface option, although not sure if that works for a PPPoE interface.

My my ONT is on 192.168.1.1 and A6 v3 is on 192.168.0.1, can someone help me to Access to ONU admin page from Archer A6 router?

Add 192.168.1.2 in Archer A6 under secondary connection.
