Here is the thing. What you are asking for is connecting a pen drive to the tablet which is something that most tablets do not offer by default. You have to root the device to get this ability. Android does not require a desktop app like Apple iTunes to manage your data. It behaves like a pen drive when you connect it to your computer.

I would really like to know what exactly do you want in the first place. You want a tablet that you can use to watch videos that you have stored on pen drives?

i want to watch movies directly from my pen drive/ext hard disk (1tb seagate) as well as copying too.

that is sort of a complicated requirement. i would suggest finding a different android tablet that comes with OTG support enabled by default.
