Applied for disconnection. They don't even care. The Bombay call centre went to the trouble of finding out that there were two unrelated connections under totally different names at my house in Chennai and asked if I wanted to disconnect both of them.
Because unlike West , India is full of Crappy Govt. policies which will lay 1000 conditions before a Telco or ISP asks for the permission of laying cables. The RoW itself is so hefty that most of the ISP / Telco backs off . Only the local goons take advantage and start laying overhead cables which cuts off ISP / Telco to enter directly into the retail market. This results in Telco never willing to work with local cablewallah and ISP who are willing to work ends up with a Sandwich , Customers end up with a crappy service and cablewallah using his gundaism enjoys the Dum Biryani.guyaborad said:why is it so expensive in India to get 100 mbps connection?? comapred to where I am 10 mbps is included in my rent and I am thinking of getting 100/100 mbps which is for mere 650 Rs...
