TATA Group is exiting the Telecom business

Guys, this news was long pending. TATA group had lost hops of Telecom venture revival and loosing heavly. Talks are on with Vodafone and is confirmed by TATA group spoksperson
i am a docomo customer and felt that company was not at all bothered about caring customer issues and network consistency. Network performance has gone down to the core and company is only interested in getting bill payments on time and pulling more and more prepaid customer.
i dont know how vodafone would manager overlapping of 2G and 3G licenses
 
At my home I don't get Vodafone 3G network, but I get Tata Docomo 3G network. However Docomo 3G takes long time to connect.
I guess if this deal really happens, Vodafone would get all 3G towers built by Tata, and would benefit for customers like me.
Although, we may miss cheap calling plans by Tata...
 
had someone in Tata Tele., and I don't regret saying they already raised their hands many months back for best performing staff too, asked them with compensation to arrange a new job for them, reasons Tata Tele. was turning out to be not as profitable as it was supposed to be.
 
so gonna be left with Vodafone and Airtel then again :P Though in Delhi they were pretty much non existent.
 
If it is really happening, its a good news. Atleast for me coz am a Vodafone customer. :P But as of now, its not confirmed. And as per the comments on the article, there are chances that it may not happen.
 
This news is reported twice in same month. So there is no question of authenticity here. Also there is no positive side of tata continuing this foray. They have been completely ignorant on communication business and incurring huge losses and debt which cannot be paid back at least in this lifetime.Ignorance has been so much that it can be felt at customer level and in their employees. I have had instances when store male employee misbehaved with me on not having stocks of nano sim. I also gave back but then mood was spoiled as all customer we're starring at my aggressiveness after employee misbehaviour. I was a North Indian punjabi shouting in Bangalore with Kannada speaking employee. Should have killed him that day.Existing from this business is the only healthy option with tata
