hey guess what even i opted for this plan...however there is some feasiblility issue in my area.I would like to know from those who already have this connection that what was the Signal Strength at the time of installation?Mine was varying from 21-19 and the tech refused to install it and said that will come back when there is a resolution...and by the way i'm planning to use this connection for my PS3:thumbsup: does anybody has any idea as to will i get the mentioned speed since there is no IDM for ps3 and I would be basically using it for online gaming....:wewin:thanks

The above picture shows up to me when i press change my tariff in my tariff section in my account..If you dont get it, just go directly to their nearest office and ask them to change your plan. And they may ask for some ID proof or a letter and they will change plan immediately..

I already posted a reply above mentioning the speeds i am getting..While downloading, i am getting the accurate speeds which they promise..48KBps in the morning and >192KBps in the night and on sundays..
In the above pic, see the transfer rate ..It sometimes crosses 192KBps as well (i.e. >1.5Mbps)..sometimes though..But i am using "internet dowload manager" to increase my download speeds upto 15-20% more..You can always download and use that sotware..
While watching videos, it depends on the resolution of the video u r watching..if its low like in most youtube vids, they will stream without break even in daytime ..,and at night you dont have to worry at all..But if u watch HD videos , you will be harassed during day time but Ok during night time..
I have a link-removed account for which i get continous download but dont worry .. Even with free link-removed downloads you can manage that speed nearly..

I remember my signal strength was 42 odd..I guess. but not really sure..
You need to adjust your wimax box in perfect direction and at the perfect angle and at the highest point possible and within 2-3KM radius of the tower..Only then, you can get maximum speeds...
U can use PS3 for online gaming but not at good speeds during day.. Coz PS3 games are high definition games and need heavy bandwith for being played online without lagging..You can play at good speeds without lagging after 10:00PM.

hi.. i've been using tata indicom for the past 2 yrs.. have recently shifted to wimax.. must say the service is way better and the connection is way more stable than the previous adsl connection... have faced a few problems in the beginning (connectivity, stability, configuring my wireless router, missing technician, etc) but that have been sorted out (thanks to google)... having a good experience with regards to speed and stability now.. but i do wish that i dont have to talk to the customer care people... who always seem to be ill-equipped to sort out any queries...
I've been using a prepaid UL 512 plan using a quarterly renewal scheme.. on an avg coming close to rs. 1500 pm.. so wanted to upgrade to the new infinity 750 plan.. but apparently it is only applicable to new users and existing postpaid users..(as informed by the customer care ppl.. any idea if this is true)

it depends on the router that you have.. the major problem over here is that the gateway for you router is the same as the gateway of your PPPOE modem.. just login to your router and change the ip settings to something that you can easily remember.. that should sort out your problems...

Hello Big Brothers,please advice me yaar for getting this plan i checked all the conditions from site & found this plan to be awesome:clap: according to my needs. if u peoples are experiencing with it please advice me over all performance, right now i m using mtnl 256 unlimited which is damn slow getting only 26 kbps highest, 
i am a real download freak i downloads a lot, even from link-removed as well as u torrent. so please tell if its compatible with utorrent means giving good output speed,? & like now i can restart my modem & put link-removed links again & again without time waste can i do dat in tata also? :huh
