TATA Indicom Broadband Service is the worst!! Beware when making Online payments. You are at their mercy because their Billing/Account dept. is all messed up and they will de-activate/ suspend the account even when they have your money.I setup a new account in Aug.21,2007. Made a check payment of Rs.6168/- which bounced since my account transferred from B'lore to Pune. Plus I was out of country.When I returned in Oct. 8 , I made a online payment of 6168/- and account was functional until April 4,2008 per the screen info. I made another online payment of Rs.3203/- on March 6, 2008 to extend the service until June 2008. Guess what, on March 20 they suspended my account (when I have not used the service for under 7 months since Aug.21). Now they say my account has validity until June 4, 2008. But it is suspended, since my check bounced (for which I made an online payment in Oct. already). So I don't get it - they have my money for 2 more months of service but they will not activate my account?? The remedy they have suggested is to make a check payment for 6168/- again?? I have gone crazy with their Customer Service and Billing Folks!! So now I am paying a monthly charge for no service?Beware if you are going in for the pre-paid service.
