Tata Sky DTH: 50 foreign TV channels permitted to downlink into India

As many as 50 TV channels, uplinking from abroad, have been permitted to downlink into India, Lok Sabha was informed today.In a written reply, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Priyaranjan Dasmunsi said apart from this five more channels have been permitted to downlink in India. Star Cricket has conditional permission to downlink.These are the foreign television channels, which have been operating in India for years without the mandatory clearance from the ministry of home ministry (MHA).

Can someone answer this question?Question: suppose by chance Sky Sports gets launched in India.Then Sky Sports has English cricket rights.So they will show those matches without ads.Then what will ESS do?Or Sky Sports has to show different programming in India than that in UK?
