Tata Sky monthly charges are Rs. 421.67 if you subscribe to EVERYTHING

no points complaining.. all v can do now is to pray that trai looks at all this and does something about the industry..Lets hope something happens..
 
I feel charging 300 pa for active services and Lifestyle gold is bit too much. once sun starts giving all channels (STAR, ZEE,Sony,SPORTS etc) I feel they wud also charge on par with other DTH services. There are rumours that reliance (BigTV) will be charging something around 500 for all its services. I feel if DTH has to grow in India its has to penetrate to Middle class Homes for that prices has to be within the reach of the middle class families, because they r the most dominant class in India. Hope once the competition increases automatically price wud come down, similar to Mobile service, we shud hope for the best.
 
Tata Sky have very strong intentions towards making money as quickly as possible before their market got captured by BIG DTH TV & BHARTI DTH. They are providing the lucrative offers like 6months & 7months free subscription to attract the new customers to buy Tata Sky b'coz they knows very well that after the foreying of others competitors, they might not be able to earn as much revenue as they can earn now beacuse of the highly speculated competition. :wall::wall::wall:

Mr.Ratan Tata pls look in to it..For TATA MOTORS u r concentrating on middle class family why not Tata Sky...As today is big a day for u Tata's after launching 1 lac car now its time for u to do some thing for TATA SKY....

Still not understanding why the DTH providers are not yet favouring a-la-carte pricing. They will not loose anything and the customers will be happy with what they have to choose.

yes, I agree with you. Let TS fix a price for the FTA Channels, say Rs.75/- approx. (like Sun) and the balance channels on a la carte basis, say Sports Package, Sun Package, Sony Pac, Zee Pac, Lifestyle Package, etc. etc. in that way we can pick and choose the channels.....that days are not far away.
