I am from chennai, my friend spoke to the customer care of Tata Sky, she said the six month offer is only for CAS areas & not cities like chennai, hyderabad & bangalore. She was tongue-tied when my friend quipped that CHENNAI is also under CAS. Anyway , she still maintained the stand of the offer being only for these3 cities

Nope... its for everyone...[/b]

yeah... because they ppl in Delhi and Mumbai are more couch potatoes than anywhere else... so we get that advantage:)

Ok, so they finally came and installed it at my place yesterday. My initial observations:1. Picture quality of channels part of the Zee bouquet is not upto par that of the others.2. The 'Home' menu hangs and refuses to load intermittently and i have to power cycle the STB(gotta wait 10secs before switching it on again) to get it back.3. CNN-IBN, my preferred news channel is missing.4. They expect you to pay STD charges to talk to their frickin helpdesk. Is the 1860 one also an STD number?5. The volume control is not logarithmic which is an annoyance cuz the initial volume is quite high.6. Gotta love the Program Guide and the Reminders feature.Overall, seems like money well spent.

Yeah. They just need to fix a few small problems and they will soon be No. 1!

It isin't 4000 per tv set.. it is just 4000 for the first tv then like a discount for the other sets... So when they launch international channels and english movies on showcase and audio channels and then when the deman peaks.. then they can be within reahc of No. 1
