(11 April 2008 1:00 pm)
NEW DELHI: The Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) today directed MSM Discovery (MSM-D) to give its channels of One Alliance to Sun Direct, the DTH platform that operates out of southern India, so that its customers may not be deprived of the IPL matches starting from 18 April 2008.
The sector tribunal issued an interim order to MSM-D that Sun Direct must be given the One Alliance channels by tomorrow, 12 April.
Sun Direct had filed an appeal asking for the channels, as it had no agreement with Set Max, the bouquet that runs Sony, on which the IPL matches would be shown.
The next date of hearing has been fixed for 8 May.
