Terrible speed in Linux with BSNL FTTH

Oh you said mac give only 60 mbps?

Then please mention your fiber ont device model number, it likely basic single band 2.4 ghz version. Ask your LCO to replace it with dual band 5ghz model which should give better speed.

Other option is to buy your own high quality wifi router and use it as access point.
 
Oh, yeah my mac gives around 60-100Mbps. My BSNL FTTH plan is BSNL FTTH Premium. So max speed is 200Mbps only.

And, my ONT device is Syrotech SY-GPON-1110-WDONT
 
If you would explain your setup and your network card model. I'm assuming you meant Wi-Fi hotspot by "Airtel Data" and you got better speed then it's probably because of your configuration or due to bug(s) in your network card firmware (there are a lot of them in linux-firmware with workarounds). Also, that router is dual band (I checked), gigabit port gives it away anyway.

What is your wifi chip model you are using with linux?

Do you have same SSID name for both bands configured on your router?
