Samuel L. Jackson Replaces Jamie Foxx in The Black Phantom

Samuel L. Jackson is negotiating to replace the formerly-attached Jamie Foxx in Screen Gems' The Black Phantom. First announced back in 2009, The Black Phantom also has Kevin Hart set to headline with Tim Story (Fantastic Four, Ride Along) directing.

In the film, which has been scripted by Megan Hinds and Dave Lease, a double-crossed mob hitman turns for help to an unlikely source: the title character, another hitman who was hired to kill him.
