The configuration will be like this. If we see any stb that is in US eg, DirectTV, they also offer 3d stb(they have ESPN 3D) and output is not different than the standard 3d bluray player. so i dont have a second thought that it will be different here in india.
standard HD stb:
1080p
HDMI 1.3x
3D stb should have
3D 1080p@60Hz
HDMI 1.4a (which supports 3D) HDMI wiki

and finally ofcourse 3d tv is a must(unless you have a PC which can handle HDMI 1.4x)

Ok, so if theres a TV Tuner in PC, that supports HDMI 1.4, then can it be viewed on PC, even though i dont have a 3D TV??

yea but you will need those glasses...the video will be displayed as in you get a feeling to 2 merging frames...

By PC i meant whole system including monitor, but there is a catch.The monitor should support 120HZ refresh rates.(because each eye is presented with 60 frames/sec totally 120 frames/sec from single monitor).

if monitor is capable for that you are all set to welcome 3d content

I can understand that the 3D glasses wud b needed in any case......And yes, regarding monitor - my "Monitor" supports Full 1080p resolution & also its refresh rate is 120Hz.

As of now this videocon 3D feature can not be used by me or the rest 99.9% of india cuz of the really steep price of 3D TVs in india

and for 24 hrs true 3d channel we have to wait for 2-3 years in india tooand 3d TV cost around minimum 90K in India right now so we have lots of time guys :isorry:its 3Dtv is future technology and its in starting stage...

I think they shud consider these facts.....atleast if they can air Anaglyph, people can still buy/make those anaglyph glasses to see the content.@ Avishek....I have put a 3D demo video from 3dtv.at on download.....lets see how it goes on my TV.

3D TVs without special glasses needs are still almost 3 Years away and thats not my wild guess its news from the real makers(atleast Samsung).
