We are in for a treat. David Hyde Pierce is an amazing actor. Though I guess he is doing the Matthew Perry for this season.

Lol Had to Google Matthew Perry. Had forgotten his character totally.
 
Yup. He was quite a disappointment.

Introduction of a divorced woman of the same age as Alicia! There has to be a reason.

During his interview of Alicia, he said "My father was a police officer" - a reference to his dad on "Frasier." ;-)

As for Matthew Perry, his role was cut short only because he got a new show "Go On" on NBC, which lasted for only a single season.

I suspect that the intern is the daughter born to Peter and Connie Nielsen's Ramona character. That's why Peter didn't get into the intern's pants.

This show is operating on a different level. The music score is excellent. It unravels like a ballet.
