Not a fan of Cumberbatch.
Not a fan of Knightley.
Not a great movie. But a must watch just to realize that 60 years have passed and we have still not learnt anything.
 
The movie can be very good or not so good depending on how you look at it.

If one were to consider Alan Turing a fictitious character, the movie appears brilliant. I, personally, loved Cumberbatch's performance. The plot is riveting and it does get the message across effectively.

Unfortunately, for the movie, Alan Turing was indeed very real. I've read quite a bit on him and there's nothing to suggest that he had difficulty in speaking in tense situations to the point where it appears that he has Aspergers. Found that bit extremely annoying. Also, the bit about him not getting along with his colleagues isn't very accurate, iirc. His manner of death, is a topic of much debate and it seems rather sad that a movie meant to celebrate his life would end on such a weak note.
