seen this flick? i am not tempted to watch in theater but i do want to check out someday... should be an interesting movie.

I can only imagine the terror the people who lived through this experienced. The story is done so well. It feels very natural. This film is a real tear jerker. 10/10

so finally watched it. decent movie. i was hoping for more of the tsunami shots. anyways. gives you a basic idea on what happens when such a natural calamity happens. one question though. what was with the leg thing? lucas told his father that he wanted to tell mom something important but he was not prepared to do so. i assumed that her legs had gone all black which meant they would have to be cut off. but they never really showed that happen. did i miss anything?

Yes in the hospital when he saw her mom's legs when she asked he told its still red but they did not show that.In the end I guess they cut her legs off

that's the thing. the only thing he ended up telling her even in the plane was that he saw danial and he was with his dad. nothing about the leg. and from what i remember it was not shown cut off even inside the plane.

I don't think the leg was cut or something, when they were taking her to Singapore it looked like she had both legs.

yup. please tell me one of you watched it in the theater. because the screener might be different from the version that made it to the theaters.

I did watch it in theater, the toned down version..blurssss.. you know!
