Awkward was when I burst out laughing when one of the younger son said, "Dad but, i never took care of anyone before". ..and a lady was crying right in the next row, bleh!

awkward was when he left the guy who loaned him the phone without helping him find his family. i found mind. cool. let's move on!

well. they arrived in thailand from japan. and of course... if you read the director's note. he made it clear that he did not want to talk much about the nationality of the people in the movie to create a 'universal' feel about it. people on imdb criticized him for picking a good looking american family even though the actual family on which the movie was based was a darker color one with not so pretty faces all around. :D

yup. yet they picked up an american family with pretty faces. and then he talks about realism and all that bullshit. :)

Some scenes were typical bollywood style, like father and son roaming in hospital and meeting outside with brothers.I don't know why the scenes were blurred in Indian theaters as there is no nudity, but scenes of injury. It is rated pg-13 even in U.S.
