Seen Jungle Book last weekend.
I was kind of disappointed with story. I was hoping story to be like DD TV Series, where in they could have some background story about Mowgli growing up with his wolf brothers, and Bagheera/Baloo training him. But plot of movie was very different. Mowgli was already grownup. There was very little screen space for him with Wolfs. Kaa (Snake) I guess was positive character in TV Series, in movie it was negative character. And in TV Series Sherkhan took his time to attack Mowgli till end. But in movie Sherkhan was always ready to attack and Kill.
I guess other things of Jungle adventure Disney could be showing in sequel

well it is the remake of the original 1967 Disney animation movie. they have largely stuck to "that" story and have only changed few characters like female kaa, Gigantopithecus King Louie.

Yes I too didnt like it much. It was too fast.

Accept it was "real" which was something different.

We (Indians) went to watch movie hoping to relive DD's Jungle Book, so our expectations were not met. Or else it was nice movie
