Three years after the disappearance of 2% of the global human population, a group of people in a small New York community try to continue their lives while coping with the tragedy of the unexplained nature of the event.

This post-rapture show looks boring. I'm not impressed. I'm speculating the show hasn't come out well as HBO postponed the series premiere from June 15 to June 29. This way, it will premiere after a random episode of "True Blood" instead of the season finale of "Game of Thrones."

The trailers I've seen were boring emotional drama garbage.
But, the critical reviews have been very positive so far.
The caveat is that it's dark, depressing, despairing, desolate, bleak, brutal but brilliant.
The show is co-created by Damon Lindelof - co-creator of "Lost" and the showrunner responsible for the fiasco that was it's final season.
So, i'm guessing there won't be any answers to the mystery - if God exists, where are the missing 2% of the world's population, what caused the rapture.
Premieres on June 29 on HBO.
