Big indeed. It is good to see Nokia doing different things to get people involved. How well it will pay off only time will tell, however I have a feeling that this round might just go well for them in the US. There must be some deals being signed with someone
heh with microsoft backing them, operators in us market might not have the option to reject the Nokia wp devices. i seriously hope that this deal affects companies like samsung and htc more than the google-motorola deal.
Not too sure it would hurt HTC as they have recently announced their line up of Mango flavoured phones. It might be a proactive move to counter the Nokiasoft tie up. HTC seems to be the worst hit in the Microsoft-Nokia and Google-Motorola deals. They are the only premium phone manufacturers without their own OS
ah well. htc announced two mango devices. they announce like two android devices every week the ratio of wp devices/android devices is probably like 20/80 for most of these companies. it would be interesting to see if mango would change all that.
