i am planning a servo type 25-30 kva stabilizer , it costs a bomb , some 40-50 k but is extremely stable , would eliminate 3-4 ac stabilizer too and refrigerator one also , i should have installed 6-7 years ago and i would have saved money, appliances would be saved
 
We have a large stabilizer at our place. Do not remember the rating. It has not saved me from the damage much. But it is pretty old and I am not even sure if it is working alright.
 
I mean if your AC has an internal stabilizer, then it's ok I assume. But I have not see any ACs in the market that do not require a stabilizer. :|
 
Maybe the power supply in your area is so good that dealers do not see any point in charging for a stabilizer :o
