@amish He tried to trick us into believing that ISPs could be hacked to increase the speed of your net connection. He said he had a 4mbps connection and he was downloading at 10mb/s and even 100mb/s. He tried photoshoped images of utorrent and some other tricks as pointed out by other members. Even susubh(our admin) caught him red handed.

he did not go into the Peer section as otherwise he'll end up showing us all his local IP address with huge speed upload on the client

He Photoshopped images editing Tracker list and average Speeds. In his Screencast he didn't go to Peer list & tracker list. Because his Local Host PC on LAN was main tracker/uploader. I knew he was bluffing from the start. But i thought he would eventually admit his Joke/prank. But then he started posting Photoshopped Screenshots. I don't know why?

Client: “Our next requirement, we need an elephant”
IT Team: But why don’t you adjust with a buffalo, even it is big…. and black?”

Client: No, we need an elephant only.
IT Team: Fine, I understand your requirement. But our system supports only a buffalo…

Client:We need only an elephant!
IT Team: Ok, let me see if I can customize it for you”

At the Offshore Development Centre :
Design/Development – Client wants a big black four legged animal, long tail, less hair. Having trunk is mandatory. The same was documented, signed off and sent to offshore for development! Based on requirement all features are supported in base product (as buffalo), for trunk alone a separate customization is done.

Finally the customization is shown to client:

I guess some people just want to feel the 'pride' of accomplishing something that most would think is impossible. Think about it, wouldn't it be a dream come true to see your torrent speed go up like that?

Now add the bragging factor that comes along when you share a screenshot of that happening over the internet. That's like icing in the cake :p

If I wanted to do that carefully, I would...*

1) Change the host-name of my so specially called 'patch machine' to something like 122-113-07-31.meteorheaven.co.au (it's fake, don't even attempt to look it up lol)
2) Enable IP to hostname conversion in uTorrent so IP addresses are not displayed directly so there's no way to quickly check if its local or not.
3) Make sure to keep that hostname column as small as possible (i.e you can't see anything beyond 122-113 for example)
4) Then start recording and go to Peer list and voila, you won't suspect a thing :p

With that said, it's not that common for a torrent to go THAT high based on just ONE single peer. This would itself make people suspicious, especially here haha.

*for educational purposes only, not my fault if you end up screwing yourself and losing all of your reputation if it didn't work!
(for admin: I quoted the above response because his reply is on the previous page)

Greatest Hacker in the world cannot increase Broadband Speed beyond attainable Rate. If my maximum attainable rate is 16 Mbps, i cannot go beyond that speed. Raju claimed he could increase speed of BSNL, RCom or any connection. Its like claiming that he can convert chicken back into egg. A physical impossibility.

He used silly techniques & Photoshop images to show he can get 100 Mbps. He could've used more clever tricks. There are variety of Hacks that can be used on Speedtest site to give any results. He also could've concealed his LAN host PC from torrent list like you said.

Ah ok, he used to post some good information. Unfortunately did not last long.

I missed the whole episode though busy with some deadlines.

It's a good thing you missed it. Now as Susubh said we should forget about him and the whole incident and move on. He has already got a lot of faaltu ki attention.
