Safe earphone volume triggered?

does it depend on the earphones? because i can switch between them and see a massive change in top volume level without any setting change on the phone

Of course it does. It depends upon the impedance (in ohms) of drivers. Lower the impedance, higher the volume it can generate with the same volume setting.

The cheapo ones bundled with phones have higher impedance.

but the turbo ones are much better quality than the Galaxy nexus ones?

Don't know about the ones bundled with Turbo, but the one I got with N6 was so shitty that I didn't even use it more than once. The volume output was bad too.

How are the earphones on 6P? I did not even open them up after looking at the white color.

I haven't checked it too. Once you get used to a particular earphone, everything else feels bad.

I meant the earphones of Turbo and N6 are same and is crappy
