A replacement phone for 17K is not a bad deal though I guess refurbished devices are provided which is a pretty big gamble I guess.
HUDA guys came two days ago and demolished most of the remaining gates including the ones that were re-erected by the freaks in my sector (at least three as per my knowledge). We found out yesterday that the people in the back lane are planning to form a mob and come to our place at around 10am to discuss the 'matter' with us. We were told that they are planning to re-erect the gates and they would be coming to 'tell us' to stop complaining to HUDA and other authorities. I guess they are going to raise the same old question on how the removal of gates are creating a security nightmare for them (as if only they need security in the entire sector) and how their bahu betiyas are being harassed by goons loitering their lanes and so on. Plus I assume they are also going to raise the issue that the gate we had the most problems with was already removed and not re-erected so we have no moral authority to complain against the rest of the gates. Something on that line. I plan to record the conversation on the phone if they indeed come. I want to videotape the entire event because these people have a habit of promising something on our face and later on denying it (HUDA guys did the same in a response to our RTI that they did not promise us something that we were indeed promised verbally) but dad is not allowing me to. I guess the voice recorder app I was recommended few months ago would finally come handy here.
And here some local municipality head put hoardings of road and gutter repair from 6 months. With her photo.
They started work 2 months back and still gutters are not done.
From past 2 weeks they dont do anything whole day but evening they do something and make lots of noise.
And monsoon has already arrived. I am sure that road work will be shown as "completed" on paper.
Road was not bad before they started gutter work. But now they have spoiled the road completely and i feel they wont do anything or just minor patch work
