For manually dialling first configure ppp dialer Type 'sudo pppoeconf' and follow the instructions. For dailing its 'pon' and disconnecting its 'poff' I think these are right as i have not used linux for many months.

@vishal,just open the help section,select internet,then select setting up a connection.now im installing fedora 7.91 on my pc.i have removed ubuntu 7.04.and by mistake i have also deleted the iso file of ubuntu.i am a big namuna.waiting 4 ubuntu 7.10 2 b released.also 4 open suse10.3 and fedora 8.

fedora 7.91 is the "test 2" pre-release version of Fedora 8, so backup your data

what is it about fedora you didnt like compared to ubuntu? both are on GNOME (at least the default).openSuse is the best if you prefer KDE, KDE is rock solid and polished on it
