heh. mytouch 4g might be a crappy purchase considering we do not have the relevant networks. get two nexus ones. both are unlocked. both would get at least android 2.3.4.

I'd say mytouch is better, processor and GPU combination is better than nexus one and it has more RAM. I'd say that justifies an extra 100$.

do check how the updates are delivered on that phone. maybe t-mobile restricts the updates on their own networks. or maybe the updates have to be installed manually using a utility from their website. also check how easily this phone can be used with custom ROMs. if you are going to end up with android 2.2, it would not turn out to be a good deal in the long run.

yup, updates are my concern too. they have not released any update till date. :(

unlocked means you can use any GSM SIM in it. the question is... is it bootlocked. how easily can it be rooted. are custom mods available for it. i mean if t-mobile does not deliver the 2.3 update for it, you would have to rely on custom mods.

^BUT Amazon doesnt deliver in india yaar......does it?? i tried 2-3 times, it said cannot ship to ur location.:russian_roulette:
