Hi,
Are you experiencing Slower Speeds on the Router that is connected to the ONT via bridging?
I have a G140W-F ONT from Nokia, whose Port 4 is set to Bridge Mode, and the VoIP + PPPoE profiles are disabled. A RPi4 is connected to this port, which I use as the primary gateway. Also, I have a Static IP configured from Airtel, on the RPi4.
Unfortunately, the speeds (up + down) are disappointing....
My Plan is of 200Mbps, but the speeds I am receiving are in the neighborhood of ~40Mbps (up + down)
Here's the catch though: When I test the speeds via G140W-F (PPPoE), it is around ~200Mbps
If I try enabling PPPoE on the RPi4, the speeds again drop down to ~40Mbps. Since the PPPoE concentrators are same in both the cases, I suspect that the speed reduction is not due to contention/congestion.
This is a phenomenon that has come into play from around late April 2024....
