Time Based plans??

Hi, I have been on Infinity 256 since 2005, I think. Tata is alright. CC sucks. Takes long time to get anything fixed. I applied for BSNL home 500 like in october??..No word from them yet. I chose BSNL mainly for the 2mbps night unlimited.. I wonder why BSNL guys are taking so long.. I also heard TATA time based plans also have the same feature! 2mbps NU?? True? Although I dont see anything about it on their site. Quick Power 180 - So after 180 hours, I will be charged 9.50 per hour?? 180 hours is like 8 days...I never turn my computer off. Its 24/7 online and downloading. So might not be a good idea. Possible to have Infinity UL + Quick Power 180? So that I can use Quick power for the Night UL? Any other suggestions? Downloading @ 29kbps sucks!!

Tata's quick power 180 along with Night UL is unbeatable package at ~630/month but they are not providing this pack for new customers anymore . If you call CC they will say that night UL plan is not available for new customers but will be available later but dont just buy tata on their word .

I'm a little confused about their billing method for Time based plans. So it will just cost 630 every month for Quick Power 180? No hidden charges? :O
Why is there a notion of "Night unlimited" then? Some kind of restriction during other times?

"Total hrs of data transfer : 180" - Could you explain this part? I can only use this package for 180 hours total?

If you call CC they will say that night UL plan is not available for new customers

I'm already a Tata customer, just on another plan. Any idea if that's going to make any difference?

NU is longer provided for new customers.
9.50/hr is the charge for the 1hr. using which you can surf for 180hr in total. Not after 180 hrs.
I am using 2mbps NU plan and the downloading speed is good throughout the day. But for you NU is available. Consider this before applying for based plan.
