No, there's no choice. And you may need to get another router and use it with Jio router to avoid random ping spikes and packet loss when somebody else is also using the connection.
@Phanindra Musinada I use it in router mode. Doesn't seem to affect much in GTA Online, but I haven't tested it with Warzone or other games like it. Works without issues with games like Valorant though.
@Phanindra Musinada Nope, but I was facing ping fluctuations and packet loss even when somebody was watching some movie on Prime Video or if I had some stream running on Twitch or YouTube. This was fixed after I switched to my own router and enabled QoS.
@Zuke I'm also having same ping spikes and packet loss issues while playing games on my xbox. My parents watch a lot of tv and I also sometimes watch streams on twitch and YouTube while playing online. This issue needs to be fixed ASAP. I also tried changing QoS settings in jiofiber router but there is no change.
The bufferbloating can be countered only by limiting your download speed by - 5 Mbps in your router. Example: If your plan speed is 100 Mbps, limit your download speed to 95 Mbps. If 150 Mbps then 145 Mbps and so on. Remember to keep upload speed unrestricted.
