Celebrate the TOP GEAR boys' memorable moments of ineptitude in new series TOP GEAR: AMBITIOUS BUT RUBBISH, hosted by RICHARD HAMMOND *** Premiering MON OCT 13 at 9/8c *** Only on BBC AMERICA

While on a mission to create and test motor driven vehicles for the past 21 seasons of TOP GEAR, hosts JEREMY CLARKSON, RICHARD HAMMOND and JAMES MAY have risked their limbs, lives, and what little is left of their dignity. Now, RICHARD guides viewers through the TG archive and re-lives many of the greatest and boldest inept endeavors from the show’s history. From the attempt to drive up the Icelandic Volcano that that subsequently shut down Europe’s airspace, to crossing the English Channel in homemade amphibious cars, this series commemorates the epic stunts and challenges of the world’s biggest car show.

just started watching this show, ever special was awesome.

Saw the part 2 yesterday for this episode last night, it was pretty good.

even though they begin the episode that they wanna improve relationships blah blah...controversial ending may have not been scripted totally but that Number plate was and it was quite obvious locals were gonna get offended from it,

They got 5mil viewers on top of that so its a win - win for top gear !!

it could have been totally coincidental. plus they offered to change the number plate before arriving at the destination. plus it could all have been fake. plus it was all stupid. the kind of free marketing these remote places get from top gear special is phenomenal. clarkson was not even rude about the whole thing like he is usually. i think the locals were just being dicks and they got what they deserved, negative international publicity.

meh like they will air the whole story un edited on air :P

H982 FKL

1982 year, falkland island, looks quite hard to miss.

so they did a whole show highlighting the natural beauty of the place with the hidden intention of offending them with a number plate? ok.
