Total chaos in the Indian TV market

What the hell is happening here.These media companies are taking consumers for a ride.If you have cable, you must pay for pay channels you never watch!After spending Rs.4000 for a DTH, you cannot watch Zee channels(?)If you buy Dish, you cannot watch star TV(?)Some television channel makes exclusive deals with some MSO and subscribers of the other MSO ditched!Some companies like Star own both distribution and channels making them a force to reckon withOver half(?) of news channels support some political parties!They are biased.Success of political news channels encouraging politically biased newspapers!No charge similar to ADC paid by private companies to DD which makes DD's position worse.Some view venture between companies like ESPN and Star sports uncompetetive and unhealthy!Lack of free television due to wicked policies of media companies(?)

Dude, they at least do their job for the most part. You can argue that they are inefficient, or inadequate, but if there are any departments that should be sacked, it's the MCD and DDA that have become total corrupt-khaanas.
