The Gurgaon Traffic Police has announced a vehicle ban from 6pm on December 31 to 3am on January 1 on MG Road, following the 2011 incident, where a girl was molested by 30 drunk men on New Year's Eve. Starting from the road outside Bristol Hotel to IFFCO Chowk, partygoers will have to park their cars near Leisure Valley, where they can board a bus to and from the mall. Residents in the area are expected to collect a pass from a nearby police station which will exempt them from the ban.
