hey dude there good news nw frm 1 december will does not hv to pay fr free channel it will come free and some music channels is coming soon:thumbsup: on Tata Sky as the customer care provided information about this thinks:cool2: :thumb:
 
Don't hope any channel to be free on Tata Sky (or DISHTV) because these service providers hire TP's from Satellite providers (ISRO/NSS) for a huge amount. And to recover this amount they charge for channels, so even if channels is originally FTA (like DD, B4U Music, Samay, etc), still this channels will be encrypted and we need to pay for it. IF these channels were not encrypted, any STB available in market would have been able to receive these channels, then who would have subscribe.
Anyway I believe that some music channels may get added, as AUDIO channels have taken off

Hey r u sure that TS custome care told u? Any idea when 9Xm would be added on TS?

The most logical thing they could implement is fix the base rate - 100/- month plus 5/- pay channel you choose. I guess that would have been their intention.
