People can stay quiet and keep the blocking feature on their phone dialer perhaps. But youtubers would make videos on this and get it blocked on native functionality on samsung Apple and google. Government usually don't really notice what they announce. But now it's a widespread thing. Truecaller ceo made it go viral. Not sure coz they were forced to disable blocking of 1600 already? Can anyone here confirm if they can block 1600 on Truecaller?

Any sensible dialer app would allow blocking of wildcard numbers on 140 series. Only a fascist government would decide who you can block and who you can't. Next they could decide these calls must bypass silent setting on your phone. Maybe next they would be able to use the emergency warning system on your phone.
