with 2900 there was scheme, 3 months free. so i save 900Rs but point is... he made me BUY it by not showing neo cricket. (i was cricket fan that time and many matches used to come on neo)he had 2 plans, 1 without STB,, 360Rs a month (not all channels) and 1 with STB 300Rs a month with all channelsbut as i was expecting, after i bought STB, after 5 months he increased price to 350 (with STB)my problem is, no other cable operator wud give me connection (mutual understanding) and i was not willing to take DTH (DTH was still new that time)i had complained to TRAI twice but there was no response. he still wudnt issue a bill else i cud have done something.worst is i can stay without TV but not family members, so cant even disconnect cable.

I guess in such extreme cases you may now consider switching to DTH or IPTV now that these platforms have been around for quiet sometime

Well service of my cable operator is good. Why I am not switching to DTH is that incase of problem, it wud not be resolved atleast untill next day and that too after 1 yr i will have to pay extra charges for service.Plus DTH charges are also equal.
