The chain that is throttliing the digital India throat are the data prices.and low speeds.
Until the bottlelneck is broken, nothing will improve,

The ISPs will fight tooth and nail to keep the after FUP speeds as low as possible because that is the key to their profit..
 
Saurabh, initially I quoted since my post was going to be a sort of continuation, then I changed the post so removed the quote.
 


Airtel is free to announce whatever plans they want to offer. but they should not advertise those plans which don't give 512kbps both before and after fair usage as "Broadband plans" and dilute the definition of broadband. they should instead advertise them as "Narrowband plans" and rename their brand to Airtel Narrowband. users are free to decide whether to subscribe to those plans or not.
