TRAI leaks out a million+ email addresses by publishing network neutrality feedback online

at the time of sending email i knew these a**holes would end up making all emails public :banghead:
 
that's done on purpose.To make people to shut up in the future. even if they take it down now, people would think 10 times before emailing them again with their regular email ids.
 
well... this is making headlines. yes. but i doubt even 1% of the people who sent email are going to be concerned about it.

the whole system is messed up. trai should have created an online form to accept feedback in a format that was manageable for them. but sadly, they want you to send them emails.

the folks behind the save the internet campaign could have created an online form to auto-generate email but i guess they did not do it to avoid getting their IP/server blacklisted or something.

the end result is that trai has more than a million mails that they cannot humanly go through. though deduplication could perhaps bring that number down significantly.

i think it's great. trai would need to get fix their shit about getting responses from consumers. and similar initiatives should now see more awareness which should result in more feedback. more public participation would be bad news for the telcos.
