TRAI proposes compensation for dropped calls (lolz)

Ok re-read the article. Consumers will be paid the compensation.

But here is something which MAKES NO SENSE!!

Proposal is not really compensation.

The pulse when call got dropped will not be charged!!

The regulator proposed that any call which gets dropped within five seconds would not be charged, and in case a call gets dropped any time after five seconds, the last pulse of the call should not be included for the purpose of charging.

Since most of us has pulse rate of 1 second = 1 p/s.

Maximum compensation we will get is 1 paisa per dropped call!!

This is good move if the number of dropped calls and amount deducted are shown in the bill.

Operators would not agree to the fact that a call has dropped due to their fault.

I will be surprised to see any body getting more than Rs2-Rs3 a month.

I just hope that call drops reduce drastically because after all that's the best thing for everyone.
