I'm trying to set up port forwarding on my Airtel Nokia router. I’ve configured the settings, but when I check using yougetsignal.com it shows the port as closed. I successfully did port forwarding a few years ago on the same network without any issues, so I'm not sure what's going wrong this time. Some forum posts suggest that I might need a static IP address for it to work. Is that true? Is there any way to port forward without getting a static IP? Would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Airtel has shifted most connections to CGNAT previously they used to give Dynamic IP. So now port forwarding will not work.

To see if you are in CGNAT chech if WAN IP ont is different from IP address you see on what is my ip address website.

To get port forwarding to work you will need to buy Static IP. Some people suggest using tailscale but I don't know how that works. So you can see if tailscale works for your situation.
