From the past three days i am having buffering issue on twitch even though im getting full speed as per my 50mbps plan. It is even buffering in 480p quality . it normally used to work all the time but from past three days im having this weird issue. Are you guys also having same problem .? Please reply

I didn't faced any issues, it was streaming well.
ISP: BSNL FTTH

Since past 48 hours, twitch has implemented a new script that recognizes if you are using an ad blocker and will auto lock your stream to 480p. So either get twitch prime or subscribe to the streamer you are watching, else only option is to remove adblocker and sit through the ads.

Is twitch prime available in india ?

No, but you can get Amazon prime in Singapore for ~INR120/m and avail twitch prime through that. If you're subscribing to streamers for $5/m (~INR390) this is a much more cost effective alternative since you also get to sub for pretty much 1/3 the cost, get Twitch Prime benefits (no ads, free games every month, in game perks) and Amazon Prime benefits. Quite the steal.

Twitch is currently in crisis mode.

DMCA strikes. Streamers who have been partnered for close to 10 years have had to delete their old VOD's and clips because of record companies now actively handing out strikes to creators but these strikes are still being carried out even after deletion because twitch archives all the files on a different server. Tons of partners are being banned after 3 strikes because of this.

Activist issues. Twitch has always been in the crosshairs for different groups and now they are outright banning users and even partners who have been on the platform for years because their user IDs are claimed to be "offensive". Notably partner of 8 years "Piece_Of_Sheet" was banned and not even allowed to change his username.

Inconsistencies. This has been a long term issue where there is some clear bias to certain streamers for bans for their content, even meme content or the slightest glimpse of nudity or violence is a temp ban worthy offense. Some bigger streamers seem to get away with certain things, while others do not.

Finally, advertising enforcement. Certain streamers who are contracted/partnered with twitch are now being forced to run 5-6 minutes worth of ads every hour to viewers with the exception of subscribers and twitch prime users who don't get any ads. Even some bigger streamers (10-20k+ viewership) who do not have the forced ads clause are having their viewers see ads and there is nothing they can do about it.

Lots of streamers are being poached by facebook now with a monthly salary and sources say that these streamers are being offered 4x of what they make yearly on twitch with the promise of no DMCA strikes and much more relaxed TOS.
