ah well i would want to avoid installing ubuntu through Wubi till they officially support it. i am using the 64bit edition so there could be more complications.
Well, I am also using Win 7 64 bit OS (officially purchased from Microsoft) on my Delllaptop. But Ubuntu got installed (with some error messages pop-up).And so far both OS working fine, even WiFi started working in Ubuntu after its usual rituals
well yeah... they would have specifically mentioned not to try it on windows 7 if there were some major bugs... but they are not officially supporting it. so am a bit suspicious on that part. i guess things might change with the launch of ubuntu 10.04
Disclaimer: I was fully aware of risk to my System while installing Ubuntu 9.10 on Windows 7 (64 bit) using WUBI. Anybody else is free to try at their own risk. But in case of system crash or data loss, IBF or SVK would not be responsible
Hey ,Can I install Ubuntu 9.10 in an external HDD ?Because the problem is that ubuntu installs GRUB boot loader & it happens sometimes that my external HDD is not connected to the computer so the computer won't boot w/o it.
