I am using BSNL provided Teracom USB Data Card 7.2mbps. Speed is good at certain hours, but at other times I don't get good speed. These days even some of the websites don't load properly. I have to keep refreshing the page. Finding the Internet unstable on 3G. In fact this Forum site is also unstable on 3G now.So now using the Wired broadband to post this message.Thats my story. Now back to my question:1) If I purchase UMG 1831, will I get better performance on BSNL 3G? Few weeks back BSNL Technical team came to my home and according to them the Signal strength is very good.2) In some post I noticed that UMG 1831 supports WiFi. Does it mean that when I am connected this to my Desktop PC, can my Laptop share the Internet using wifi?3) UMG 1831 - The online seller's are busy selling the product. But what about the product warranty? Are there products with bill(Guarantee) or without bill(Guarantee)?4) Any known issues with this device as of today? Thanks for you time.

1. Browsing problem is common to all. Nothing to do with the card. Myself also posting this reply through LL BBand. Something to be collectively done by the forum members to draw the attention of BSNL.2. I am not clear about this detail.3. For UMG1831, through online, buyers will definitely have warranty with bill. 4. As every body is crying in the forums, UMG 1831 with FW 11.826.03.01.420 is stable and 11.831.05.01.420 is unstable.

@ramli7 - Thanks for details. For #2 - I want share the broadband internet connection using the USB Data card, among multiple computers (like we do now using the Landline BSNL Modem-cum-Router). so my query was whether UMG1831 has inbuilt router?

No. It's only a data card.

You have to use 3G router. Asus RT-N13U may be a good choice ( suggestion because of the brand ) Costs around 3000. Before purchase pl check (google) the reviews of this router.
