Unable to ping router (UT Starcom)

Finally managed to resolve this one. It seems that there are times that the router goes kaput but its not apparent from the lights - You need to test it on 2-3 PCs to be sure that the router is not working (that too after connecting it to a ADSL line). Went to Powai exchange - Found an extremely helpful person/engineer - Rupesh. He quickly checked my router, found that it was not working and promptly gave me another one of a similar make !! It was a pleasant surprise that I didnt have to go through all the paperwork/complaints, etc. There is a Mr. Limkar (officer) too at Powai exchange (who does not know much of networking except jargons since he keeps on hearing them), but he too is helpful and generally tries his best to resolve issues.
