unable to setup a wifi router to share dataone connection

@Wirelessmania:Simple steps, for a Wi-Fi setup:1. Open the ADSL Modem router page. Change the LAN Ip to 192.168.0.1. Change in to Bridge mode. Set VPI/VCI values 1/32. Save and Reboot. Switch Off.2. Connect the Ethernet LAN cable from ADSL mdoen to WAN Port of Wi-Fi router.3. Connect RJ45 (Lan cable) from Wi-Fi Router to your PC.4. Switch on in this order. D-Link(Let the lights become stable). Netgear.PC.5. Login to Netgear Router Modem and follow the Wizard. It will identify the connection as PPPoE. Click Next and provide bsnl userid/pwd. Then next and Reboot. Wait for it to get statted. i wanna build a small wifi network in my office and wanna share this DATAONE using DSL 502T with Netgear wireless 108 mps router.
Somebody already described the method to you. I will only add a little detail.
1. You modem should be in bridge mode. You should then configure the WAN (or Internet) settings of your router and put your BSNL username and password in it. So when you switch on the modem and then the router, the router will dial with your username and password through the modem to make the connection.
2. You should then be able to connect your wireless PCs to your wireless LAN of your router (after configuring the wireless part of course). Be sure to enable DHCP in your router's settings. And be sure you have encryption turned on. You may also connect other PCs to the router with network cables.

you can use bridge mode (have to dial ) or ppp mode (dialer ot neede ,always on) and set the modem as :ip 192.168.1.1 ( default ),enable DHCP and NAT enable SSID broadcast (you can change this for security reasons too ) and use WPA 128 bit (if it is there or 64 bit ) encription key for wifi security....see for available networks in your laptop ..you will see your SSID ..select it and follow as per wizard,this will do the job.
