Its hilarious to see that the so called customer care agents have no ethical sense of practice.. @coldtime: You seem quite new to wireless internet.. whenver I buy a 3G connection, I don't expect anything out of it and then buy. I know no one is capable of even 3Mbps consistently.. we just don't have the infra structure for that. I used BSNL 3G first and I got 1-3Mbps. Then they gave unlimited connection which effectively paralysed their network due to the huge influx of customers. Then they not only had to remove the unlimited connection, but also increase the price of the existing plans to keep their network stable. @offtopic: Once a tata photon technician who came to check the connectivity of tata photon plus at my home made fun of me when I told him that I got 1Mbps with my existing BSNL 3G connection. He suffered a huge embarassement when he could only demonstrate 300Kbps with his 'lightning fast' 3.1Mbps tata photon plus connection. (and I heard that tata is upgrading their network to 9Mbps; isn't it funny?)

I thought tata are least corrupt and least unethical company in India.

I haven't used any of tata's services other than the ones offered by tata teleservices. When it comes to tata docomo GPRS, tata docomo 3G, tata photon plus in south India, I consider them as a FRAUD.

so basically we (customer)are screwed from all side.
like politician we have to choose the one which is least harmful . so sad.

@nimi20: sadly yes. I often buy 3-4 SIMs before settling into one provider.

However, for 2G, I believe (except tata docomo) operators genuinely face spectrum shortages, resulting in slower GPRS connections. Bur for 3G, our backbone wireline network is appallingly slow.

not least harmful... we have to choose who is sabse chhota chhor! Chhor hai sabke sab!

Vodafone store at R.T.NAGAR Bangalore and its Manager AMRITA BHAVASAR lied to me that she is going to fix the speed problem in next few days. Atleast that will be bought upto 4 to 7.1 mbps, but even after 15 days, i am still getting 0.63 kbps speed.

See it to believe:

Another jokers by name Hussain and Vidhyadhar made it clear to me that refunds cannot be made.

As some one said it is same story here like our politicians. I truly believe that, after all these corporates have to contribute for Swiss accounts of politicians.

off topic
I bought Reliance before Vodafone, which promised high speed, but no where in Bangalore I got more than 0.80 mbps, and at my home less than 0.090 mbps. It is fault with their misleading selling practices. However sometime I use borrowed MTS , which is much better than Vodafone and Reliance. I have not tried Photon yet but in my opinion even that is not going to be worth my time. I had worst experience with Tata Docomo mobile sound quality due to signal problem in heart of city.

----------

RT NAGAR Bangalore Vodafone store Manager AMRITA BHAVASAR, her sales man HUSSAIN and Vidhyadhar even stopped picking up phones from last one week. So where is the customer service? I called their customer service numbers and they said only Vodafone store can do something on it.

They are sitting on my money and I am sitting on their piece of garbage. It is nothing more than open broad day looting.

You should know the difference between 0.63 kbps and 0.63 mbps!before you buy Voda data card, you should have bought Voda prepaid sim ,put Rs 99 -3G pack and checked signal strength in your home with a 3G phone /data card ( or borrowed).Keep the sim in phone and check speed in near by areas.or If you have a laptop, check speed with the sim in Voda data card in near by main road or malls.:smiley-ashamed004:
