Upgrade ONT?

How can i upgrade the firmware for the ONT?

Im also thinking about changing the model, its really old(EchoLife CT8321R). Anyone knows if i can buy it from Amazon locally and do it myself?

@sloj sorry saw ur comment now.. I guess i can only ask from isp for that and best case is turn modem with bridge mode to remove lag for gaming and other things

Yes, bridging is a better option but you will still need a good router. Although, lag won't be gone just by bridging. It depends the route as well as the server location but having a router that can handle network load definitely helps with multiple network connections from various devices in your network.

@sloj i turned my connection into bridge mode but now everyday internet disconnects for 4-5 min multiple times a day. Ive turned off power saving mode in lan settings and other things but its not helping.

Not enough information to know what is the issue. Does PPPoE go down? Or DNS stops responding? Or the router or ONT gets buffer overflow?
