Hi all,
Long time lurker, first time poster here.
I currently have the jiofiber ₹399 plan as the 30mbps speed is enough for my needs. I had paid a ₹2.5k security deposit when I got the connection after which I got the 2.4ghz router few years back.
I have a few questions about upgrading to the Jiofiber ₹999 plan -
1) If I do upgrade to jiofiber 999 plan will I be provided with a jio set top box and my current 2.4ghz jio router will be upgraded to a dual band router?
2) How soon will I get the router & stb?
3) Do I have to contact them or will they provide the hardware automatically?
4) If after trying for 1 month I feel the 30mbps plan is sufficient & go back to the 399 plan will they ask for the dual band router & set top box to be returned at any point?
5) How does the jio dual band router compare in terms of speed & coverage to say a TP-Link router?
I emailed jio care but their customer service is crap. They have not answered despite emailing them repeatedly. They do not have any way to contact a live agent even. Does anyone know any better way of contacting them?
TIA
