The "honest tax payer" aka forced tax payer salaried class is cheering most without realising they will end up paying increased cost.
And gst compliance is no easy task, they keep changing rules, random notices. You need a professional just to deal with it. Bribes for GST and getting it is not easy for small business because of all documentation required.
And if your business doesn't workout getting rid of it is another issue.
Only if govt could focus making gst simple more vendors would have enrolled. Point of gst is anyway lost with multiple tax slabs, exceptions and forever changing rules even after so many years of its implementation.
